AgriPreneurs is a farmer-first platform and community. We take real problems from the field, grow them into real businesses through short build sprints and honest farmer feedback, and plant the same model in new regions.
Good harvests rot before they reach a buyer. A fair price is lost to a long chain of middlemen. Tools get built in cities for farmers who were never asked. Good local ideas die because no one helps carry them. We exist to change that.
We do not build or run the ventures ourselves. We help people build them. We give the framework, the mentors and the community, and founders bring their own ideas and do the work. This is a place to bring an idea and build a dream that solves a real problem for farmers.
Founders grow the Soil-Grown Ventures. We give them the soil, the tools, and the people around them.
Four principles sit above every role and rule. We build with the land and with the farmer, never against either.
An idea travels through four stages on its way to becoming a business. Each stage has a clear job and a clear owner.
Get 5 farmer-first startups demo-ready for AgriPreneurs Day at the Visakha Organic Mela on 12 December 2026. On the day, each venture shows a real farmer better off. From there they keep showcasing at the agri events that follow. Demo-ready means four things are in place:
A five-minute live demo that shows a real farmer better off. Before and after, with a real number.
The farmer who tested it speaks, in person or on a short clip. Their word carries the pitch.
A simple stall at the Mela, a one-page story, and a clear ask: orders, a pilot, a mentor, or funds.
The business is registered with fair equity, so a buyer or investor can act on the day.
December 12 is the deadline, not the finish line. After the debut, each venture moves onto a rolling calendar of melas, FPO events and expos through the year.
Our long-term goal is to keep finding and refining new farmer problems in Vizag, and to enable new regions that want to build the same momentum. From Vizag to the world.
Four stages of growth, powered by short sprints and honest farmer feedback. Nothing moves forward until the field says yes.
Every idea walks the same road. At two gates we stop and ask the hard question. If the answer is no, we pivot back rather than push a weak idea forward.
Founders fill these in order. They are the tools used at each stage of the journey above.
Prove the pain before anything else. Who hurts, how much it costs, and what they do today.
Design the simplest solution that could work, then test the pitch with real farmers.
Test the riskiest guess first, and prove demand by hand before building any technology.
Building it is not enough. Decide where to start, how to reach farmers, and who does the work.
Every idea is judged the same way, so the choice is fair and not down to who shouts loudest. We look at the same eight things, score each from 1 to 5, and rank the ideas. It is a guidance score: the team still decides, and the Root Anchor keeps a farmer-first veto.
The journey grows like a tree: a foundation takes root, sprints prune it into shape, the first ventures fruit, and the seeds carry the model to new regions.
Growth is a careful transplant, not a franchise. We protect the farmer-first culture as we plant each new community.
A new region should not reinvent anything. We hand a founding team one bundle with everything they need to launch fast, without losing the farmer-first culture.
Before the Visakha Organic Mela in 2025, a small group of volunteers shaped one idea: turn real farmer problems into farmer-first businesses. The Mela gave us our first gathering, and we have carried it forward as a monthly meet ever since. The people change, the purpose does not.
Work is shared across eight roles, so no single person becomes a bottleneck. Each role has one name we all use, a familiar industry title beside it, and a persona that describes the kind of person who fits. A short psychometric self-check helps place you, so people land where they will do their best work.
We measure people by what they do, not what they say. Access and voting rights are earned through real work, and they fade if you stop.
Real actions, in the field and at the meet.
More contribution unlocks more trust.
Attends meets and submits problems to the Seed Bank.
Joins Innovation Tribes and uses shared resources.
Unlocks one-on-one mentorship, funding pitch slots, and a vote on community decisions.
Once a month the whole community gathers. In 2026 we meet at the GITAM Venture Development Center (VDC), where venture coaches help build momentum. Farmers share ground truth, founders show progress and make one clear ask, and new ideas pitch into the Seed Bank in five strict minutes.
Plain words, and Telugu wherever it helps. Say what a tool does, not what it is.
A hard truth today saves six months of building the wrong thing. Listen deeply, do not argue with the field.
Pitches and farmer questions are five minutes each. When the timer rings, the mic passes on.
